Experienced Insolvency Supervisors

Two opportunities, based in Glenrothes and Glasgow

Salary Band – £24k-£30k + pension

We provide a variety of specialist services, including outsourced contract casework, insolvency advice, technical support, resource and training to anyone active in the UK insolvency market together with administration of insolvency appointments in the UK. Due to continued expansion, we require two experienced, skilled and enthusiastic Insolvency Supervisors to join our team. One will be based in Glenrothes and the other in Glasgow.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Progressing own portfolio of personal insolvency cases to a high standard timeously and to agreed KPI targets.
  • Undertaking volume contract works in relation to our outsourced contracts – accurately and timeously.
  • Interviewing debtors with assets and/or trading businesses.
  • Realising assets on case portfolios efficiently and cost effectively and regular reporting thereon.
  • Assessing DCO levels in terms of the CFT requirements.
  • Supporting the administration of trading cases – offsite and onsite.
  • Work related to the creditor adjudication process.
  • Regular internal reporting.
  • Communicating with various stakeholders in relation to case specific matter.
  • Involvement in internal training including peer training as appropriate.
  • Delegation of routine administration case matters to Senior Administration and Administration staff retaining oversight responsibility to ensure tasks are complete.
  • Providing support to Senior Administration and Administration Support staff.
  • Ad hoc administration tasks as required to fulfil your role.
  • Assisting other team members in maintaining our high level performance at all times.
  • Potential to be involved in some corporate casework.
  • Flexible approach required to be assigned to project assignments to suit overall business requirements (internal or external).
  • Supporting networking and training events.

The successful candidates will be part of a team reporting directly to our managers.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years’ hands-on full-time insolvency experience working in professional practice. Full knowledge of insolvency legislation and AiB Guidance notes is essential.

Candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, and be able to communicate to a very high standard.

A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and IPS is essential. Qualifications to CPI or CPPI or equivalent is essential. A full driving licence is required and candidates must be able to provide a clean Disclosure Scotland document (We will cover the cost for successful candidate).

The salary package offered is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Insolvency Support Services Limited provides a variety of specialist services including outsourced contract casework, insolvency advice, technical support, resource and training to anyone active in the UK insolvency market together with administration of insolvency appointments in the UK. Due to continued expansion, we require an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic PPI Claims Administrator to join our insolvency team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and set up of claims management processes – including all reporting systems for a high volume personal insolvency case portfolio
  • Collation of relevant information from our case database sufficient for claims submissions
  • Handling communications with individuals: by phone, email and letter
  • Completion and submission of claims information to lenders
  • Handling of communications with lenders
  • Continuous claims progression, recording of claims status, monitoring and realisations of funds due
  • Reporting to Management on required KPIs on a fortnightly basis
  • Delegation of routine administration case matters to administration staff retaining oversight responsibility to ensure tasks are complete
  • Assisting other team members in maintaining our high level performance at all times
  • Flexible approach required to be assigned other project assignments to suit overall business requirements
  • Ad hoc administration tasks
  • Travel to our Glenrothes office as required

The successful candidate will report directly to our management team.

Candidates should be experienced in PPI claims processing with direct responsibility for volume claim realisations. A working knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority guidelines is mandatory. Qualifications to standard grade are a minimum essential requirement together with proficiency in  Office 365 and related software products. A working knowledge of database products and ability to implement new processes is required. Knowledge of Insolvency Practitioner System IPS or equivalent is advantageous. Candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent multi-tasking and time management skills, and be able to communicate to a very high standard.
