Eileen Maclean

Eileen Maclean

Eileen is a licensed insolvency practitioner with over 25 years’ experience of all aspects of personal and corporate insolvency.

Since 1999 Eileen has been providing bespoke support services to the insolvency and business community, including back office and technical support, compliance reviews and extensive training programmes. She is recognised for her thought leadership in the profession, and for spotting any opportunity that change presents.

Eileen specialises in complex issues and dispute resolution, where she combines detailed knowledge of the law with a pragmatic approach to get proven results. She excels in compliance and in the words of a peer, “what she doesn’t know about insolvency isn’t worth knowing”.

Eileen represented Scotland on R3’s National Council for six years. She continues to provide valuable input into government consultations and SIPs as a member of the R3 Scottish Technical Committee and her expertise is regularly called upon to provide technical solutions to Insolvency Practitioners.

In what little spare time she has, Eileen likes to dream about foreign holidays and joining the Great British Bake Off. She is also a renowned reverse parallel parker.

Alison Curry

A specialist in insolvency law and regulation in England and Wales, Alison has a proven track record of regulatory drafting, innovation, project management and implementation of organisational change. She is an accomplished trainer and public speaker, confident in effective information sharing to improve the understanding of others.

Alison read law at the London School of Economics, then studied to be a solicitor, prior to diverting into the insolvency profession in 1996. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner from a small practice background, specialising in bankruptcy investigations, bespoke IVA and CVA drafting and SME restructuring. Formerly a partner in a small practice, she joined the Insolvency Practitioners Association in 2010, where she became Head of Regulatory Standards & Support in 2012.

Alison’s leisure time is devoted to family life and performing on the local music circuit. She enjoys keeping chickens and makes a very respectable apple wine.

Danielle is a member of our administration team. With a background in Occupational Health, Danielle has worked in administration for over 5 years. Danielle is primarily responsible for organising ISS training courses. She arranges all course bookings, making sure that everyone is in the right place at the right time with the course materials that they need. If you have any queries regarding any aspect of course administration speak to Danielle in the first instance.

In her spare time, Danielle likes to wine and dine with friends and spend some quality time with her family.
